Are you familiar with the fact that close to 80 percent of the world’s population suffers from joint pain? A research study showed that about 40%of men and women around the age of 45, are affected by it, and that the percentage is significantly higher in people over 65 years of age.
Joint stiffness and limited mobility as well are one of the most common reasons for visiting a doctor. That is because, the joints form a connection between the bones, and with so, they provide support and assistance in the movement.
Because of this, any damage to the joints can cause severe pain, interfere with the movement, and lower the quality of life. There’s no one who hasn’t felt pain the joints at least once in life.
Joint pain is a very common problem for almost everyone, caused by different factors. However, we can say for sure the most common ones are injury and inflammation (arthritis).
In elderly people, we notice more increased and intensified joint pain and that generally represents a sign of osteoarthritis, which can affect one or more joints.
People who are obese as well, those who have genetic predispositions; who are prone to infections in the body, or eat unhealthy foods, belong to a risk group that is more likely to develop some kind of a joint disease, like chronic joint inflammation, rheumatism, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, or arthritis.
Joint Pain– what are the symptoms and causes
Here is what we can tell you if you often feel weak or tired and irritable or feel pain in the joints. That is very likely that the stage of chronic inflammation of the joints has started.
Some of the following indicators can help you detect this: increased sweating, eating disorders, poor psychiatric condition and anemia. Even though the real cause of this problem is unknown, there are many factors that contribute to its development.
Studies assumed that the bacteria and viruses that inhabit and multiply in our body cause certain infections, which can sometimes result in an inflammation and pain in all joints.
The impact of genetic predispositions should not be excluded so if one of your parents suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, then you’re a potential candidate for getting the disease.
A person who has an overweight problem should move more, in order to avoid the unpleasantness on the joints caused by the excess pounds. Otherwise, the constant pressure of excessive weight on the bones and joints can lead to an inflammation, and ultimately, arthritis. Therefore, any aspect of physical activity is more than welcome.
Excessive intake of proteins (eggs, meat, dairy products) is not necessarily a good thing. You shouldn’t exaggerate in such diet, as protein-rich foods, consumed in large quantities, can trigger inflammation of the joints.
In addition to the aforementioned reasons, fatigue, exhaustion, immunity decline, hormonal and metabolic disorders, ligament injury and tendon strain tend to be the perfect basis for the development of joint pain and inflammation.
Joint pain is not pleasant at all, and treatment is required. Whether it’s about an injury, inflammation or illnesses, it’s important to have an adequate response. We recommend you to consult your doctor before you start with any treatment.
So this brings us to how “Pineapple Water” is good for “Joint Pain”
The pineapple fruit has powerful anti-inflammatory properties due to its rich content of vitamin C and bromelain. These two ingredients have proven to be very effective in reducing inflammation, relieving pain, and treating rheumatoid arthritis.
We recommend you to try pineapple water as a natural remedy for joint pain and arthritis.
The preparation is easy. All you need is:
2 liters of hot distilled water
1 fresh pineapple
1 tsp. of fennel seeds
Wash the pineapple and remove the skin, then just cut the flesh into chunks. Put them in a plastic container, filled with 2 liters of hot distilled water. (Alternatively, you can use glass jars, as we did). Once the water reaches room temperature, add the fennel seeds and leave it overnight.
In the morning, strain the liquid. Drink it throughout the entire day. Repeat the treatment on a daily basis, until it brings you pain relief.
Precaution: If you’re allergic to pineapple, don’t try this treatment.
